About Mike

Hello! My name is Mike Long, and I'm generally helpful. While the tone and contents of this website are pretty playful, I have a genuine interest in helping you get stuff done. Let me explain.

In my time in this life, I've been a lot of people. I've been a garden educator. I've worked as a wilderness guide in Rwanda, Alaska, and Central America. I've worked as a songwriter, officiated weddings, done courier work, worked in food insecurity, and a lot of other things. At some point I realized I was good at a lot of things, but I don't really have a speciality. 

More than anything, I just like helping people, being neighborly, and a good story. I started posting ads on craigslist offering to "do whatever", and over the years, I found that I liked it a lot.
